SAMASA Party Alliance believes that:

Education is a right and not a privilege. This should be accessible to the Filipino people regardless of religion, gender, financial capability and political beliefs as mandated by the Philippine Constitution.
The right to education necessarily entails social responsibility – that of awareness, service and involvement with the basic and marginalized sectors of society.
Academic freedom embodies the rights of the students and the FEU community as a whole.
Students, as with the Filipino people, have inviolable rights to free expression, assembly and to organize and be organized. These shall be asserted and fought for.
The university is both an integral part and a microcosm of the Philippine society. Problems and issues of the University reflect the problems confronted by the Filipino people as a whole.

SAMASA-FEU shall endeavor to:
A. Raise the social awareness of the students
B. Actively assert the rights and welfare of the students and the Filipino people.
C. Unite the students and other sectors of the University on a pro-student and pro-people stand on issues confronting the community and society.
D. Strive to provide programs and services that shall advance the best interest of the students and other sectors of the community.
E. Struggle for a nationalistic, scientific and mass-oriented education.
F. Forge unity with other marginalized sectors of the community.

. To achieve these objectives, SAMASA-FEU shall:
A. Provide venues for discussions of Institute, University and National issues; organize alternative class programs, initiate group discussions, forums, symposia and others to encourage active student and other sectors’ participation in these issues.
B. Lead the students in asserting their rights to quality education.
C. Provide opportunities for regular interaction, integration and exposure with other sectors of the community inside and outside the University by spearheading medical and relief missions, fact-finding surveys, literacy and numeracy programs.
D. Organize student services and programs.
E. Participate in legitimate, patriotic and democratic affairs of governance and struggles of the students and the Filipino people.

Samahan ng Mag-aaral para sa Sambayanan F-reedom E-mpowerment U-nity Like a torch are the values of vigilance, pro-active and genuine student representation and service. It sheds light and warmth. It keeps us from being cast into darkness, fear and chaos. This torch has been passed on from generation to generation, from one Student Council to the next. Each year, these Student Council officers have tried not only to keep the fire burning, but also to make her burn more brightly. Through the years SAMASA has worked hard to keep the fire burning. We pass it on year after year with trust and hope that our successor will do the same. Alas, it seems that the torch’s flame have withered and died like it has been doused with cold apathy, self-serving compromise and self-glorification. It is time once again to choose our torchbearers. SAMASA will now again play the part of Prometheus, to try and obtain the flame from the haughty gods and give it back to the students… to you! SAMASA (Samahan ng mga Mag-aaral para sa Sambayanan), over the years, has consistently proved its commitment in raising the bar of campus suffrage by endorsing competent student leaders and advocating an honest and mature election. Moreover, the party has produced outstanding officers who, during their term, were able to carve a difference by promoting students’ welfare and mediating students’ voice to the administration. SAMASA is undeterred to continue this legacy for FEU students.
